Teknopreneur Award 2010

Detik.com (PT Agranet Multicitra Siberkom) and Agate (Agate Studio CV) won Teknopreneur Award 2010, one each for Category Enterprise and Start Up category. Award Teknopreneur awards ceremony this time coupled with the mat Teknopreneur Day 2010, held in Puri Ratna Grand Sahid Jaya, Jakarta last night (16/12).

Teknopreneur Award is an annual award for technology businesses in Indonesia, which this year is the third step on the mat. The event is organized by ITB Alumni Association (IA-ITB), Indonesia Teknopreneur, and Techno Venture, with the support of KADIN Indonesia, HIPMI, and the Committee of the National Innovation (KIN).

In the enterprise category, Detik.com emerged as the best after setting aside the M-Star (PT Inter Partner Initiative), who finished runner-up. While the Third Place was taken by Speed Up (PT MLW Telecom). The three companies managed to put two other finalists who entered the final judging stage, namely PT Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering and PT Indonesia Smart Meter. Award for Detik.com received directly by the Director of operations, Sapto Anggoro.

While in the Start Up category, Agate became Winner and a runner-up is Sangkuriang Studio (PT Sangkuriang International). While the third winner won by Lorco (PT Lorco Tower Multimedia). They set aside Leaves Blue Engineering, Q-Words, GCM Ednovation, and Indonesian Environment Consultant who also entered the final judging stage Teknopreneur Award this year.

According to the jury the assessment category of enterprise, include Amir Sambodo (Teknopreneur Indonesia), Anindya Bakrie (Bakrie Foundation for the State), Freddy P Zein (IA-ITB), Ilham Habibie (The Habibie Center), Rinaldi Firmansyah (Telkom), Sylvia Sumarlin (Xirca), and Zuhal (National Innovation Committee), Detik.com considered as the first news portal in Indonesia are able to survive in a well-established and continue to develop innovation as a technology-based companies.
